Shokhrukhbek Tillaboev is an advocate specializing in intellectual property law, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law in the field of international law, and a lecturer and senior researcher at Tashkent State University of Law.
He specializes in international law, intellectual property law, and digital law, with a particular focus on the protection of intellectual property rights in the context of digitalization.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Tashkent State University of Law. In 2022, he completed his Master’s degree at Brunel University London (United Kingdom), specializing in International Law and Intellectual Property Law.
In 2024, he completed an international internship at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and successfully graduated from the WIPO Summer School on Intellectual Property. He also undertook an international internship at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), where he studied modern European approaches to public international law, including the development of international institutions, human rights, and transnational regulation.
In 2025, he defended his doctoral dissertation on issues of international legal protection of intellectual property rights in the digital era, providing a comprehensive analysis of treaty mechanisms (including TRIPS and WIPO treaties), the activities of international organizations, and the implementation of international standards into national legislation.
He is the author of more than 20 academic publications, including works indexed in international databases such as Scopus. He actively participates in international conferences, round tables, and academic projects.
